A huge congratulations to the u16 Girls Footballers on their county final win today in a tightly contested match v Coláiste Ghobnatan Ballyvourney on a score line of 3-7 to 2-7 in Dromtariffe GAA.

Congratulations to our under 16 hurling team who beat Carrigtwohill Community College by a score line of 2-17 to 2-13 today in Rathcormac.

Our Senior boys played Coláiste Pobail Bheanntraí Bantry yesterday in a very close game.

Thursday afternoon we held our annual sports day. This is one of the highlights of the school year and this year was no different.

Our Senior girls played Castleisland Community College yesterday morning in Buttevant GAA pitch. Unfortunately they came up against an excellent Castleisland side.

Yesterday our brave Leaving Certs took on the teachers of the Colaiste in a soccer match. They fought very hard but were unable to take advantage of their youth and speed - narrowly being defeated by the teachers 1-0.

This week we will be taking part in the Take One Programme with ETB Ireland.

The Home Economics students have been very busy - first years making mini egg cookies before the Easter midterm and our second year students have shown great creativity with their Textiles CBA tie dying and embroidering clothing or household items.

A big thank you Suzanne and Aaron from Blackwater Engineering in Mallow who gave a presentation to our 5th & 6th year Engineering students about the company and apprenticeships that are available.
