The 1st year music students presented the cheque for Focus Ireland on behalf of the Trad Group and 5th year music students who took part in the Big Busk for Focus Ireland, It was a great experience for the students to be part of fundraising for such a worthwhile charity.

Today as part of Ethos week the 5th years organised a ‘golden hour’ for their grandparents highlighting some of the core values of Ethos - Care and Community.  

Junior Cert Home Economics students recently took part in a felting workshop with @eimilyathompso_artist. They all created lovely craft items as part of their textile studies!

2B & 2C CSPE class invited Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland @autismdogsirl into school today as part of their CSPE Action Project.

Huge well done to Tiernan Mulcahy and Billy Breen again on their recent tractor run fundraiser. The total amount raised was €2300 which the boys chose to split between two very worthwhile charities Pieta House and Hope Foundation.

TY’s, 5th and 6th Year Ag Science students attended a talk with the Irish Agroforestry Forum, learning about the benefits of incorporating trees onto agricultural land.

Very proud of our Girls U14s, U16s and U19s today, who competed in their first Cork County Schools Badminton competition.

Well done to the group of lads who completed the safe pass course today at the Coláiste. This is one of the many courses that open doors to more job opportunities.

Well done to the students in 2C who held a bake sale in aid of Autism Assistance Dogs, Ireland yesterday. Their bake sale was a fantastic success raising €400 for the charity.

Yesterday our 3rd year students took part in a JCSP Christmas Quiz. In a mix of questions ranging from Flags to Music to Anograms, team ‘Bruh’ emerged victorious 🏆 A big thank you to Ms. Lane for the huge amount of work put in!

A huge thank you to Carmel from @educ4sustain who completed an 8-week module with our 2B CSPE class. The students now have an awareness around the topics of climate literacy and sustainability ♻️ 👏🏻 

Olivia Reguejo completed a design for the 2024 Water We Want Global Competition which she won!. She is now representing Ireland as part of the global digital exhibition which is promoted by the Global Network of Water Competitions. 

Well done to the choir and ‘Declassified’ who performed so beautifully at the St Mary’s Christmas Carol service last Sunday night.
