AIMS ChoralFestival 2023

Well done to the Coláiste Choir who took part in the Senior Chorus Competition at AIMS Choral Festival in New Ross on Friday.  This was a fabulous day out and a great opportunity to perform and listen to other choirs.  New Ross was brimming with excitement as the ten choirs lined up and rehearsed in the streets.  Our own Choir  sang two songs beautifully: Running Up That Hill by Kate Bush and Dear Theodosia from the Musical ‘Hamilton’. Special mention should be made to Kelly Feehan who sang the solo in Running Up That Hill and Colm Finn who performed the solo in Dear Theodosia. The choir was conducted by Ms Flynn and accompanied by past pupil, Zoe Crowley.  Thanks to Mr O'Rourke, Ms O'Donoghue and Ms O'Dwyer for their guidance and help throughout the run up to the competition.
