Senior Camogie Team

Commiserations to our Senior Camogie Team who were very unlucky to lose by the smallest of margins to Pobalscoil na Trionoide Youghal in the Intermediate Colleges ‘B’ County Final on Saturday last. A goal from Kate Cremin and points from Avabha Clifford left the Coláiste in a strong position at half time. A fast start to the second half left us leading coming into the final quarter, but points from Youghal gave them the lead as we approached the final few minutes. Although the girls fought hard to bring the game to extra time, we were unable to find the breakthrough, with the final score Pobalscoil na Trionoide 1-6, Coláiste Mhuire Buttevant 1-5.

Well done to the girls on reaching the final, and we wish them the best of luck going forward in the Munster and County Football Competitions. A big thank you to Mr. O Sullivan and Mrs. O Sullivan for their work with the team throughout the year!
