St. Vincent de Paul’s Christmas Food Drive
TY students have been busy over the last couple of weeks collecting food for St. Vincent de Paul’s annual Christmas food drive. We received huge support from teachers, students and their families and have made one of the biggest food donations from the Colaiste to SVP to date. We would like to thank you all for your very generous donations and continued support of this appeal.
The work that SVP do in Ireland is crucial and as this year has been a tough one for many people their services are under a lot of pressure. All of the food donated to SVP is distributed to people in the local area and is very much appreciated by all those who receive the support.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the Buttevant SVP volunteers for all that they do; from delivering food to homes and being a support in times of need, they are a voice for those who need one. We would also like to remember one of Buttevant SVP’s volunteers June Whyte at this time. June was a huge support to families in the local area and to all of us here in the Colaiste. We hope to always keep her memory alive in our support of SVP and this year we make our donation in her honour.
