U16 Basketball
Our U16 Boys Basketball team have been in action over the last 2 weeks playing Ballingeary and Colaiste Ghobnatan. In their first game, they showed great resilience, rallying back from eight points down in the 1st Q to lead by ten at the end of the 3rd. Some hot shooting from Ballingeary lead to them pulling away in the 4th. A positive result for a team with many players still new to the game of basketball. They showed great potential and worked well as a team. 31-42.
We went down 36-15 to a very strong Colaiste Ghobnatan side. A good showing from the home team with excellent camaraderie and team spirit on display from all involved. A difficult day out, but one we will take a lot of lessons from.
