All Ireland Soccer Semi Final

Hard luck and commiserations to our U19 soccer team who lost narrowly 2-1 to St Joseph's of Foxford, Mayo today at Tulla United grounds.

Foxford took an early lead after 4 minutes with a quick break, but Coláiste Mhuire soon equalised after 7 minutes through a Zack Mannas header from a dangerous Paddy Behan cross. Foxford again took the lead after 10 minutes from a set piece. 

With chances hard to come by in a tight, hard fought game, Coláiste came close on several occasions late on but couldn't find the equaliser, as the game finished 2-1 at the final whistle.

While today didn't go their way, the group can be extremely proud of their run back to the All Ireland semifinal for the 2nd year running, retaining the Munster Title last week. Well done to the boys and their management team - Mr. O’ Sullivan and Mr. Buckley.
