VistaMilk SFI Research Centre - Moorepark Fermoy. Two of our TY students Sean O Callaghan and Sean Williams got the opportunity to take park in the transition year work experience programme last week in Moorepark, Fermoy. What an exciting week it was for them with researchers from Teagasc, UCC, SETU, and UCD presenting to them. They got the chance to, isolated DNA from plant tissue, have a work shop on the importance of grass measuring and soil nutrient measuring, have talks on careers in the Ag industry along with a farm walk of Moorepark and many many more activities. They were presented with a certificate of attendance and participation on the Friday.
