A thrilling victory for Colaiste Mhuire Buttevant in the U16 “D” Semi-Final against a spirited Colaiste Ghobnatan sees Buttevant advance to the County Final, which will be held next Friday, Dec 2nd, in Neptune Stadium, Cork.

A close-knit affair, this game was nip and tuck throughout. In the final minute of the game, Buttevant found themselves a point behind until Cathal Byrne knocked down a decisive three-pointer to tip the scales back in the home team’s favour. Discipline, effort and communication were key, as Buttevant’s defence proved pivotal in them holding on to win on a final scoreline of 29-27.
