Public Speaking Competition

Yesterday a group of our students took part in a public speaking competition involving St Marys, Patrician Academy, Nagle Rice Secondary School and ourselves. Freya O’Riordan and Jennika Joyce performed outstandingly with the adoring support of Lily O’Callaghan, Elaine Thompson, Shauna McNamara, and Ronan Rea. Colaiste Mhuire brought home the trophy and Jennika was awarded €100. This was an outstanding achievement competing against students at senior cycle in the other schools.

They celebrated with a well deserved pizza party. Well done.
