Busy Bees in the Garden

Class 2A have been busy bees over the last few weeks creating their own pollination garden during their CSPE class. The students learned about the importance of bees to our ecosystem and decided to create a bee garden in the Colaiste to help save the Buttevant bees. There was a lot of hard work to get the garden ready but even the wettest May days didn't dampen their spirits! They enlisted the help of TY class 4C, the 5th year Ag. Science class and Keith Oliver to help them create an oasis for local bees. The students hope to expand on their garden over the coming years and will eventually pass it on to another generation of Colaiste students to keep the bees happy for many years to come.
